Luna

Overview

What Luna does and how to use it.

Luna builds a camera report from a folder of footage — reels, per-clip metadata, thumbnails, and totals — and exports it as PDF or CSV. It runs entirely in your browser; nothing uploads.

  1. Open Luna and pick a folder or card. Your browser asks for read access to it.
  2. Luna scans the folder and shows the clip count and total size. Confirm to continue.
  3. It reads metadata and generates thumbnails, a few clips at a time, with live progress.
  4. Clips are grouped into reels by reel name — or by top-level folder when there’s no reel name.
  5. Fill in the cover fields and export PDF or CSV.

Every file in the folder, grouped by reel, with:

  • Camera, lens, ISO, shutter, white balance, color space, frame rate, codec, resolution, and duration — whatever the file records.
  • A thumbnail where Luna can generate one.
  • Per-reel and total clip counts and sizes.
